Mount Shuksan, standing at 9,127’ is one of the tallest non-volcanic peaks in Washington. In addition to its impressive relief it is the most frequently photographed mountain in the United States. It epitomizes alpine terrain with hanging glaciers, knife-edge ridges, and steep couloirs.

Shuksan is the ultimate alpine experience with a diverse array of terrain and route options to satisfy the novice and advanced climber alike. We offer three paths to the summit all involving treks through old-growth forest, glacier travel, and moderate rock scrambling. All of the routes culminate on the iconic rocky summit pyramid leading to the exposed and pinnacled summit. Let us share the exhilarating summit of the “American Matterhorn” with you.
